About

Summary

A Scientist with over 12 years of research experience in France, including nearly a decade at the Paris Brain Institute (Institut du Cerveau - ICM), Sorbonne University, Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital.

Affiliated with the Movement Investigations and Therapeutics research team (MOV’IT) and the Center for NeuroImaging Research (CENIR).

Holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the Doctoral School of Brain, Behavior, and Cognition at Sorbonne University, Paris.

Research theme on the judicious intersection of cutting-edge deep learning-based brain imaging techniques and challenging clinical neuroscience questions.

Major projects involve identifying biomarkers of neurodegenerative disorders by applying advanced convolutional neural networks to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data.

Published around 20 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles and over 30 first-author international conference papers.

An active Speaker, delivered more than 25 invited talks and lectures at leading international forums.

Currently, leads an international research project funded by the Indo-French Campus for Life Science and Health, French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEAE) that investigates genetic influences on brain structure in high-risk populations across Europe and South Asia.

Has a deep fascination with the brainstem, particularly the substantia nigra and locus coeruleus/subcoeruleus complex.
